when we think of Milan, we think of polished, fashion savvy individuals with designer handbags and fine leather shoes and this is exactly the image Italian inspired footwear and accessories company Carducci aims to portray. The independent boutique, established in London since 1976, works closely with designers to offer individualism, craftsmanship and quality to its equally stylish London customers.
Located in the iconic Hays Galeria in the heart of London, Carducci’s vision is to continuously source and supply innovative and inspiring products with limited runs of stock giving that element of exclusivity to its customers. The company has grown a strong following with a loyal clientele who have shopped with them for over 25 years! So what’s their secret? Could it be the personal service and exceptional quality? Proud owner Rosh Parmar admits, “We treat our loyal customers as our friends, some we know on a first name basis and they are always the first to know when we go on SALE!”

Rosh’s grandfather was a bespoke shoe maker who in time passed his knowledge onto his son who started in the business in 1976. Now semi-retired, his knowledge, and more importantly his contacts, have been handed down to Rosh in order to successfully run the business. He regularly travels to Spain and Italy building key relationships with craftsmen, designers and manufacturers. Each shoe, boot and handbag you see in store has been carefully designed and crafted and handpicked for both quality and style.
With Winter drawing in and temperatures getting colder, it is just as important to Londoners to remain stylish despite the weather conditions. This season’s trends are all about soft materials and tactile textures. Designers looks to get stuck in with a variety of colours; leather in particular looks rustic and authentic in warm red or yellow tinged brown tones – the perfect match for the classic Heritage look.
Suede and leather are significant pieces in the winter fashion puzzle whether your style be snake and reptile prints, ankle boots and court shoes, or chunky soles and over the knee boots; the over the knee style is especially strong this season.
Shine is also back in fashion for winter 2015. Lacquered and brushed finishes in black are seeing a big comeback and are ideal for androgynous shoe types and go perfectly with the winter clothes trends houndstooth and tartan.
Whatever your style, androgynous, boho, cosy, sporty or classic, there is a style to suit all tastes this season and Carducci can certainly accommodate your needs offering quality footwear at affordable prices. To find your perfect pair, drop in to see Rosh and the team for a taste of Italy in the heart of London.
