Counting the Days ’til Easter…

For many reasons I am counting the days until Easter, having given up my my passion for the occasional cheeseboard for Lent, so am busy filling my diary with distractions!

We have great dates for the food diary; with cocktail classes and resident chefs on Southwark Bridge Road and Scandi food markets in Rotherhithe – so fingers crossed there’s something to your taste too.

Local artistic talent is certainly getting an airing currently with a fabulous new creative initiative at the London Bridge Hotel, in partnership with Team London Bridge, presenting a selection of stunning work in the public areas of the hotel, lounge and bar.

During the winter months we were delighted to meet up and interview the international award-winning artist David Taborn, based in Lambeth, and open up his studio and ‘inner workings’ in this issue.

Best of luck if you are seasonal fasting too, hope you enjoy Easter all the more because of it!
