Winter 2014

Dear Readers

The change of season is here and we need a little more motivation to leave the comfort of our homes – fortunately there’s a wealth of great things going on locally. Whether you’re heading out for a bite to eat or an evening’s entertainment, we’ve had a peek at some of the best of the best in London.

The eerie tales from the Brothers Grimm are given an interactive twist at the OXO Wharf’s Bargehouse theatre, a venue that is sometimes over-looked, and Treasure Island is running at the National Theatre for Christmas. So the Southbank really is packed with things to do. Along the riverside, the Design Museum has an engaging exhibit called ‘Women Fashion Power’ for those looking for something thought-provoking too. We also have included a few January offers from local eating and drinking venues so there is something special for the New Year that won’t break the bank.

Lastly, we have profiled nearby Clapham North, spanning from the independent Picturehouse near the common, up along the High Street and discovered vegetable growing underground.

Otherwise, if you feel like staying at home, then curl up on the sofa with a fabulous Cava or fine wine and read all about it instead.

Cheers!
