Young scholars at Ark All Saints can now enjoy state of the art sports fields
Thanks to income from letting their Sports Hall out to local community groups as well as some generous grants, Ark All Saints Academy recently installed a top-of-the-range 3G pitch over the old MUGA (Multi Use Games Area).
Perfect for football or rugby, 3G sports pitches are the latest in synthetic surfaces in which the artificial blades of grass are supported by sand and a rubber crumb. They can be installed over almost all surfaces and are ideal for recreational and competitive sports.
Needless to say, pupils were keen to try it out as soon as the surface was down and the opportunity was awarded to Natasha in Year 10 who got the first kick and goal on the new pitch. Ark All Saints Academy have already been hosting matches against other schools, who are all clearly very envious!
