The long-awaited redevelopment of Elephant and Castle is now well underway and at the heart of it will be Elephant Park and the shopping street that has been designed to draw on the original neighbourhood qualities of the area. Once known as ‘Piccadily of the South’, Elephant and Castle was a vibrant centre of leisure, entertainment and shopping, and the intention is to restore the area to its former glory. The shopping centre is being redeveloped to include a range of high street and independent retailers making the Elephant a thriving new zone 1 destination.

By 2025 the Elephant will have been transformed by a £3 billion investment, welcoming 5,000 new homes, new shops and a state-of-the-art community leisure centre. One stunning new development is One The Elephant, marketed by McMahon and Partners and the photos do all the talking necessary.

Woolwich: Rushgrove Mews
Six houses arranged around a charming fishing lake in a quiet part of Woolwich make Rushmore Mews an extraordinarily unique development. The description ‘magical setting’ is rarely appropriate for properties in Greater London but for this set of houses it is most apt.

Each property has been designed to enjoy fabulous light through floor to ceiling windows and varies from 3 or 4 bedrooms, sized between 1,300 and 2,750 square feet. Within a private gated development the houses have garages, parking, security and privacy.

Prices for these freehold homes start from £750,000 rising to £1,650,000.
