Winter 2017

Dear Readers

SHOWTIME AND SOIRÉES

With hits like ‘Network’ sold out before the doors open for first night, Josie Lawrence starring in the Bertolt Brecht success at Southwark Playhouse, and the opening of the The Bridge theatre in Potters Field our local area is becoming an impressive Theatreland to rival the West End.

Like New York, with pockets of culture, off-Broadway shows and tucked away music scenes similar to Greenwich Village someone should redesign the Monopoly board and make Old Kent Road, Bermondsey and The South Bank the new ‘Yellows’ and ‘Greens’ of the property world.

I hope you have already booked your work’s party for the season – there are so many exciting venues to eat and drink at, including the new scene at Flat Iron Yard and the highly recommended Great Guns, just along Southwark Bridge Road for a great social soirée.

Yours

Angela Webb
