Love at the PAAW House

Where every pet has a right to a loving home and every human deserves the right to love a pet

The recent launch party of new local business ‘PAAW House’ under the railway archways near Druid Street and Maltby Street, brought together like-minded friends, pet lovers, and their pets for a fabulous afternoon of fun, wine and music. The party, hosted by London City Runners, was also attended by the local celebrity dog, Burly Bear the Pom and raised money for The Wild at Heart Foundation.

With a DJ keeping the vibe bopping along there were great opportunities for dogs to be professionally photographed while their owners socialised. They had all come together to celebrate the launch of the PAAW House portal, a central source of pet related support and information, a safe place to share ideas, chat in forums and read the online magazine.

Our journey started five years ago, when bubbling with excitement, we moved into our new London home. We didn’t realise it at the time but the seed for PAAW House was sown shortly afterwards when we were challenged by a group of residents in our building for having Vinnie in our family and taken to court.

In the four years that followed, we experienced wonderful kindness and support from dog-loving communities and animal charities all over the UK. Our goal now is to create an online community where we can all join together to promote the human-animal bond, campaign for positive pet policies, share our stories, have fun and support each other. Welcome to the Pet Revolution!
